What happens when somebody taps my card?

Their phone opens your profile straight away — no app, no account, nothing to install on their side. They see your photo, your title, your links and your contact details.

They can save you to their phone in one tap. Pressing Save Contact Information downloads your details straight into their contacts, the same as any other contact card.

Then they are asked whether they would like to share their details back with you. It is a simple yes or no — "Would you like to share your contact information back?" — and if they say yes they fill in their name, email, and optionally a phone number.

That is where your leads come from. Anyone who says yes appears under Leads in your dashboard, so the person who was interested is recorded rather than remembered. You can also send new leads straight into other tools with a Zapier webhook.

Nobody is made to hand anything over. The question only appears after they have chosen to save your contact, and declining it costs them nothing — they keep your details either way. That is deliberate: a card that demands an email before it shows you anything is a card people stop tapping.

If they just look and leave, nothing is collected from them. You will see that your card was tapped — the count is in your dashboard — but there is no name attached to it, because they never gave one.
