Somebody gave me a card from their club or team - how do I set it up?

Tap the card on your phone, or scan its QR code. You'll land on a screen saying the card was set up by an organization - it will say which kind, such as a club or a team - and you need three things: your name, your email address and your mobile number. That is the whole process.

You aren't asked to choose a password, and you don't need one to start - you are signed in automatically and your account joins the organization that gave you the card.

The name you enter is the name that appears on your profile, so enter it the way you want people to read it.

You don't need anything from whoever runs it to do this. Holding the card is enough - it was assigned to them before it was printed.

Once you're in, fill in the rest of your profile: photo, job title, links and contact details. Tapping your card from then on opens that profile.
